Story

Bleeding Pages follows four young teens on the verge of adulthood as they face the pains of growing up. They bond over role-playing sessions in the fantasy world of Kaldobar. However, when they find their real life friend on the brink of death, they no longer feel safe in their escapist world as the line between reality and fantasy blurs.

The Characters

Jack / Ollam, the Great Bard

Played by Sam Rotsch

Jack is an outgoing young man with desire for adventure… as long as that adventure means he and his friends never grow up. His fantasy ego is the proud Ollam, a legendary bard of the kingdom and the right hand to the King himself.

Allison / Lady Blackwell, Royal Apothecary

Played by Caeli Schamel

Allison is a bright young lady who is not afraid to step in and do what needs to be done. However, she can only take so much before the weight of her responsibilities start to cave in around her. Her fantasy ego is the sly Lady Blackwell.

Caleb / Ajax, the Champion of Kaldobar

Played by McGregor Schamel

Caleb is Jack’s best friend who grew up with “difficult” parents. His insecurities are both alleviated and exacerbated by his friends. His fantasy ego is the mighty Ajax, the defender of the kingdom who will do whatever it takes to defend his loved ones.

Beth / Commander Diana

Played by Izzy Motta

Beth is Allison’s younger sister and is inspired by the servicemen and women in their family. As she follows their footsteps, she starts to learn the meaning of sacrifice. Her fantasy ego is Commander Diana, the fierce leader of the kingdom’s army and a renown warrior of the lands.
